Curious on one other thing, try collapsing the display. Tap the arrow to the right of the main line a couple of times. Maybe it is confused as to the state of the display.
The issue is that the 3.9.0.b727 Events filter page doesn’t recognize that I have a premium subscription, but all other subscription-driven areas of the 3.9.0.b727 app do recognize the subscription and display data accordingly. I also don’t see this issue in any previous app version which implies a beta 3.9.0.b727 app coding bug.
When I totally collapse all sections in 3.9.0.b727 compared to previous app versions the issue becomes even more evident. Note difference in advertised premium filter icons:
I don’t think it’s server-related. The rest of the app displays that are subscription-driven work fine. For example, the premium filters are present and work fine in the Recent Events section at the bottom of a single-cam live stream page:
Yea, I have seen things like that before and it corrects itself. But this is confusing. If it was app related, I would expect to see it on mine as well.
It’s not happening to me either. All my premium filters are available still. I wonder why it’s doing it to some people and not others. Since there are multiple reports, it’s not an isolated incident or cache or anything. I think I have the same subscriptions and devices as Seapup too so I’m not sure what to guess the difference may be.
Same issue with the missing filters. Annoying as hell…
Wiped the app and reinstalled and signed back in and same.
Guessing the contractors doing the dev work didn’t code to all production servers. Sucks because now we’ve been missing paid for features thanks to them.
Please keep in mind that the purpose of beta is to assist Wyze in identifying and reporting bugs and usability issues before software and firmware enhancements are released to the general public. That means you will most likely encounter issues running beta apps and firmware… some minor and some major. If you value stability or rely on your Wyze products for security, you may wish to reconsider participating in beta releases.
Yesterday I unplugged my Wyze Sense Hub to move some furniture around. After plugging it back in and going to the Monitoring tab the screen is grayed out on my Pixel Android phone. See attached screenshot. The hub still arms and disarms itself at scheduled times. If I look at my wife’s app (same phone Pixel) everything in the Monitoring tab is there, same with my iPad. Everything is updated to latest versions and firmwares. I’ve done a soft reboot on the hub, forced stopped on my phone cleared cache and data, logged out, uninstalled the app, rebooted the phone with no luck. Any other ideas why just my phone app not working? Thanks!
Thank you for the quick reply. I merged your topic to this beta app announcement topic for better visibility to Wyze. It appears that something is down on the beta server. I’ve reported this outage to Wyze.
Thank you! It’s weird that it works on my wife’s phone and my iPad just fine. If it matters my Pixel 9a is running Android 16 with all the latest updates.
They are running older versions. My wife’s android is running v3.5.5 (669) The iPad is running 3.1.6 (1) Both show and work the Monitoring tab just fine. I can arm & disarm the alarm with those versions. The keypad also works normally for arming & disarming, My phone was working fine on the latest app until I unplugged the hub.
