Wyze app 3.9 & Palm Lock Firmware Beta Test 11/19/2025

Your wife’s phone and your iPad are running (very, very old) production Wyze apps. Those versions are unaffected by the beta server outage.

Your Pixel is running the latest Wyze beta test app.

There is currently a beta server outage that affects users running the beta test app. It may be limited to only the Android version of the beta app which is the version running on your Pixel. Any features located from Wyze app Home > Monitoring tab are currently inaccessible from Android beta app version 3.9.0.b727.

It appears that the beta server outage affects both Android and iOS/iPadOS users running the current beta test app versions:

  • Android: 3.9.0.b727
  • iOS: 3.9.0(3)

Features located from Wyze app Home > Monitoring tab may be inaccessible while Wyze works to resolve the issue.

Definitely get that. But paid features breaking isn’t cool. Especially at the cost of your testing group.

This one should have been pulled days ago.

I’m not a Wyze employee, just a Wyze cam user and beta tester.

If you remove yourself from beta testing, roll back to the latest publicly available production Wyze app (version 3.8.7.725, November 19, 2025) from the Google Play Store, you will have full access to your normally available Events premium filters.

Yep I know you’re not. Just commenting my thoughts to the process they use.

Having had a vacuum stuck on a beta firmware for years and then only upgraded because of a mistake they made it’s never going to change.

I see that as well. When did it start?

I don’t routinely use the Monitoring tab, so I only know when I noticed the issue this morning around 6am. It was working fine late yesterday.

Yea, I was in it yesterday without issues. Curious if the Arm and Disarm schedule will still work. Guess I will find out. :slight_smile:

The beta server issue that precluded access to Wyze app Home > Monitoring tab appears to have been fixed as of this morning.

If you are still experiencing this issue, please try doing a long pulldown on the error screen page to refresh or restart your phone/tablet.

Nope. And I’m still missing mine under this beta app version. :disappointed_face:

In the past few days I have noticed that the premium filter choices are missing. I don’t know how to get them back. I running Wyze beta app. I have Cam Unlimited. I have forced stop the app. Restarted the phone. Cleared the cache. What am I missing. Here’s what my filter page looks like now. Help!

Just confirming what other’s have now reported.

Came back to this 2 weeks after reporting the issue. Still experiencing the same problem. Dropped out of the beta. Installed the public app (3.8.7.725). Confirmed return of missing features (filters).
