Installed Android app with no issue. However, this beta release seems to be ignoring the do not disturb option on Android. Previous version would not notify when set, this beta release is.

On Android. Both my tablet and my phone now notify while in Do Not Disturb mode. Previously the notifications were silenced while in DND as expected.

Also experiencing the DND issue on Android (Samsung S24U, Android 16, OneUI 8.5). I’ve had to silence notifications completely.

Could you please let us know what types of notifications you’re receiving, or what the notification messages say? Also, could you please submit another log for us?

No message being presented. Here is the issue:

Prior to this Beta Release, you can put your phone in Do Not Disturb (DND) and all audible notifications are silenced unless the app or individual is on the allowed list.

It should be noted that I do not have my Wyze App on the Allowed list.

Since updating to the latest Beta, the DND is ignored and notifications remain audible and frequent. I received notifications for Motion Sensors and cameras. My V4 Cameras, outside, notify my continuously. I have to set my phone to vibrate only.

There must be a bug which is bypassing the DND setting on the Device. One possibility is setting notifications, in code, as an Emergency. It is my understanding that emergency notifications bypass DND settings as it is an emergency.

While in do not disturb mode, I am receiving camera notifications. I do not receive door sensor notifications, only camera.

I have done some more digging and have found the following:

  1. Under ‘notification categories’, I have two separate WyzeMessage options.
  2. Notifications for my v4 cameras, and my pan cam v3 come through with the first WyzeMessage turned on.
  3. Notifications for my OG cam only come through when the second WyzeMessage is turned on.
  4. I have realized that I am not receiving notifications at all for my Wyze Cam Outdoor. If I go into the camera, I do see events.

I have submitted two different logs. The first log file is with just the first WyzeMessage notification option on, the second is with both notification options on.

Same as the others have reported. They are just normal detection notices of my dogs walking around the house at night. Previously do-not-disturb mode would silence motion notification when on. I’ve been turning off the notifications at night manually in the Wyze app since this started as I don’t want to be woken up every time a dog decides to stretch his legs.

My indoor cameras are all v4.
