My iPhone Beta app upgraded to 3.1.0 (5) today, and all devices were lost from the App on devices and favorites, while automation and events are still present on the App. Events that were previously tagged by camera name now all show “Unknown Device.” I noticed that the Android version 3.1.0 (b560) on an Android tablet could not find the devices, although it kept the placeholders on the multiview (Favorites) setup.
App on iPad version 3.0.5 (9) is still showing the four cameras I have set up in Favorites and other devices. Cameras are still feeding to the TinyCamPro App on Android. Looks like this is a problem in the 3.1 Beta App versions.
Can you clarify your comment “rolling back will not work”? Do you mean the app? For iOS “rolling back” to the production release did help. (Context is always a bit of a challenge in these threads. )
As related to this issue that I first posted about this morning, my iOS/iPadOS beta app version 3.1.0 (5) is also no longer throwing “Oops” errors on refresh nor device retry errors.
Same here and has been fine all day
I have not taken the time to roll back, however the non-Beta version app on my iPhone is still working. I have noticed significant camera view dropouts on both the iPhone App version and the TinyCamPro feeds. I have dropped down to only using 4 Wyze cameras and two Nest intermittent cameras to reduce network congestion ( over 40 WiFi IoT devices on a dedicated IoT only network). Plenty of up and down bandwidth (940 MBps) so the Wyze cloud is a likely culprit.
Entry sensor V2 management seems to be broken in this release. When you go to the settings pages most of the data won’t display or the pages freeze when trying to load.
Still seeing frequent short-duration losses of individual camera streams to the TinyCamPro App but at least that App refreshes itself as soon as the feed is again available ---- unlike the Wyze App which has to be manually refreshed each time it loses feeds of one or more of the cameras.
No thanks…I’m good.
b560, Android 14, samsung s21 ultra. Friendly faces is broken again.
There are 2 parts to friendly faces.
- Camera>Settings>Event Recording>Customize Detections
If you click on Friendly Faces you get an advertisement for Cam plus. I have unlimited. Note:this was fixed in Production release 558.
2.Accounts>Friendly Faces. This works as expected.
It took a few days but after testing b560 I have decided like others, to leave beta and revert to production release 558.
In b560 favorites is barely usable. Both grouped and un grouped cameras are unreliable. A lot of bouncing balls and Loading Live Stream. I have seen multiple error codes (5, 67, 20008, 10). These codes are random, rare, and seem to clear if if go off-screen. I never saw these codes, or any codes, while using production release 558.
Friendly Faces is still broken in b560. Works as expected in production release 558.
I will keep monitoring the beta forum for a new beta release.
IMO b560 is not ready for production release.

I reached out to Wyze on this and provided a few logs. I believe they indicated it will be corrected on the public release. But will need to verify
Thank you for the info.
I stumbled upon that bug when I received a notification that a contact sensor and an entry sensor had low battery states. Thought I’d verify via Device Info before manually measuring battery voltage.
On another note… after replacing batteries, I noticed another bug but didn’t capture it in logs and screenshots. Low battery icon displays correctly for device in Favorites, Devices and sensor group. But after replacing battery, icon persists for unknown amount of time (a long time). I tried screen refresh, app cache clear, kill app, restart phone to no avail. Woke up this morning and the low battery icon finally cleared. No idea on that one. I may reinstall the old batteries to recreate if I find the time today. That issue is also 3.1.0.b560 only. Previous versions not affected.
wonder if it had to trigger an event first.
I tried triggering multiple times. Trigger worked, notifications received, etc. just no icon status change in 3.1 app.
None of my V3s are able to use the manual record feature when I attempt to record clips from footage stored on SD. After stopping the recording, all that saves is a PNG image, no video. I tested a V4 and an OG and clip recording works fine on them. I rebooted the V3s and that didn’t correct the problem. I’m on Android app v3.1.0 (b560) Google Pixel 8 Pro.
Confirmed. Not working. I recorded a 33 second clip, but what was actually saved was a .png image for the time where I stopped the recording.
V3 camera version 4.36.13.0416
Android app version v3.1.0 (564)
Android OS version 13
HOWEVER, it worked on my @#$%^&* iPhone 13
iPhone app version 3.1.0 (5)
iOS version 17.6.1
Are you using the beta app? What’s your actual app version number? Looking for clarification since you started this topic in the beta category.
