Also, I have notice that my Wyze Locks are correctly showing there status as “Locked” or “Unlocked” in the device list instead of “offline”
Sorry for the delayed response, but yea you figured it out. It only affects v3 it seems.
I own 18 and they are my most reliable cams. Tuned properly, with the proper settings, in the proper environment, they work without fail.
Hello, I am unable to open the Monitoring tab in the app after this latest update. I get an error message stating “Oops, something went wrong. Please try again by refreshing the page.” which I have done. I have also attempted clearing the cache and reinstalling the app with no help to the issue. logs sent (1116343)
I just unplugged my Pan Cam v3 and left it on the counter. It took a bit and then showed off-line. As with you, no notification was received even though I have it set.
Log Number: 1116458
Getting a cam plus ad even though I’m an unlimited subscriber and the floodlight pro is assigned to it.
The false offline status is complex and we are still working on that. I will have to do some checking the Error 06.
I sent your log up to the team.

After an alarm is triggered by the HMS Away mode the app screen displays a highlighted red line to “Cancel Alarm Response” which is then followed by a numbered keypad where an HMS system PIN or alternative PIN is required to disarm the system and cancel the alarm response. This works correctly.
However, when an alarm is triggered by the HMS Home mode, the app screen only displays a barely noticeable, non-highlighted “Disarm” option text button. Selecting the Disarm text immediately cancels the alarm with no requirement to enter a system disarm PIN. This is not in accordance with the app’s description of using a PIN for mode changes.
The two disarm functions should work in a similar, secure fashion to preclude a confused response in a stressful and possibly dangerous situation.
If you let the home part go through the delay and let the alarm sound, what do you see then? You should see the cancel alarm option with a pin, I would expect.
As for the PIN during entry delay, make sure you have require pin for mode changes turned on as seen in these pictures:
I realize that during an entry delay, you will have to provide a PIN, but that may only be required if you use the keypad. Using the app, you may not require a pin as you had to unlock your device.
I will do some testing myself as soon as I can.
Edit
Looks like the PIN is required when using the provided Keypad, as expected
You are correct that when the system cycles from Entry Delay to Alarm the red banner does appear to Cancel Alarm Response with a PIN required (if the PIN option is turned on).
However, during the Entry Delay period with the PIN option turned on, the mode can be switched from Home or Away to Disarmed without a PIN. That may be a software unintended feature.
Thanks for verifying this. However, if you do this without using the app and you use th keypad, will you have to enter the PIN at that point.
I am asking, because I believe using the Keypad will require a PIN.
I will also test soon
This is what I know, but have not been able to reproduce yet:
@Rulwiz has 8 cameras or more in a group, when you try to stream the group, some never connect. I believe they have V3 Cameras grouped together
android app 2.43.5.313
numerous issues, many many many missed events, my dog may be a person, a person may be a package or nothing, a vehicle is nothing or movement daytime will flag nighttime NEVER. . playback is distorted
sound is very poor on one cam (i have four) paid service on two cams does not record full event, freezes, sometimes does not have event in thumbnail, loss wifi connection. many more. I have never downloaded a 3rd party app ot tweaked the cams. I have made numerous adjustments with sensitivity detection
all 4 cams are v3 installed outdoor

great news for your cams, is home depot selling irregulars/damaged?
these cams were great at first.i pay for service on only two
@WyzeJasonJ Can you get us a list of which camera models are supposed to be supported in this beta for the Offline Notifications? Kinda hard to test without that info.
That is interesting. I have 5 V3’s, 2 V3 pros, 2 OG’s, 1 Flood Light Pro, and 1 Outdoor Cam V2 all of which are working. However, I test beta Firmware and apps, I like to see what is coming and to assist with potential problems. Plus, I enjoy some of the challenges.
In any event, my Android App Version is: 2.44.0 (b316)
My V3 Firmware Version is: 4.36.11.4847
What is the router you are using? Asking as I used to have numerous issues, similar to yours and after a lot of testing, research, back and forth with Wyze, I determined it was related to my router. I actually found an article which talked about the router I had an issues with Live streaming cameas, movies, etc. The router could not fully handle the stream or multiple streams. I have since switched routers and my issues simply vanished. I now get notifications within 3 seconds of an event.
I am wondering if you may be experiencing the same issues.
also note: you can try the following:
- If you have SD Cards in the cameras, format them
- Clear the App Cache by starting the app, go to About, App Settings and Clear Cache
- Close the App
- Long Press on the App and Select App Info
- Tap on Force Stop
- Select Storage and Cache
- Clear Cache here as well, not storage
- Restart the phone or tablet
- once the device has restarted, test to see if it works.
Another option to try is to restart your router and see if things clear up as well. If it does, you could be experiencing the same issues I had in the distant past.
So I have more information on the device offline feature. This was accidentally posted in this release and we are sorry for that. I know the toggle is visible but currently it is still being tested internally. We are getting closer and I can say the devices that will work with this first will be the v3, v3 Pro, and Pan v3.
For those that have been unable to access HMS and services in 2.44 beta, could you please try now?
Are the listed cams supposed to work with the device offline feature now or do the cams need an upcoming associated firmware update?
Not sure what happened but it’s working today in b316, I don’t think there was an update installed but all works as expected now.
