I am unable to activate or change any settings for the Mechanical Ring on Duo Cam Doorbell on Android (version 3.2.0.580). The setting simply isn’t there
The iOS app has the option and I had to use that app to activate the setting.

Please try updating to the latest production Wyze app for Android version 3.2.1.581
Tried updating, issue not resolved, still no Mechanical Chime option in the Chime settings.
Did you install Duo Cam Doorbell using your home’s existing low-voltage AC wiring (like for a regular “dumb” wired doorbell)? I don’t have one of these new models, but based on the unboxing video and things I’ve read here, there’s maybe a step in the app’s setup process where you tell the app whether you’re doing a wired or battery-powered installation. Is it possible that you specified that you’re just using the battery, and maybe that’s why the app isn’t presenting you an option for the wired mechanical chime?
I don’t know if this is the case or not, but you didn’t state in any previous posts that you completed a wired installation, so I’m suggesting this might be a possibility.
Welcome to the Forum, @Renegade_R!
I agree… Just installed yesterday, I use beta, and there is no option for “built-in” chime, as you screenshotted.
Android user.
I have confirmed:
I was able to set “My built-in chime” via iOS…
Also confirmed… The option still does not exist in Android, after being enabled via iOS.
Android software version needs an update.
I am running version 3.2.1.581
Updated to 3.2.2.586 and defect still persists where there is no Mechanical Chime option.
Also…please add a separate notification for the Doorbell. It is incredibly difficult to distinguish motion from rings.
I concur… Still not fixed under current version.
3.2.2.586
Supposedly this will be resolved in the next app release:
Fyi… Newest version of the Android app was just released and fixed the “existing chime” issue. The option now exists. 3.2.5.591
