I also missed you guys

Disconnecting was a real blessing. Last night when I got back home I turned the computer on and I realized that I’ve forgotten how to use the mouse

Don’t even get me started on that, the damn thing froze the modem/router twice. Glad I invested in a router rebooter.

Welcome back. I usually forgot passwords after a long trip. It’s good I have a password manager.

I get a strong Will Ferrell vibe when I look at that photo.

I like how you followed this one up with a link to a post about chewing gumption.

:+1: Someone who eats with gusto may be said to have chewing gumption. Tom Jones (not the swinging singer package) and a friend’s Albanian father come to mind (descended from royalty he claimed.)

So, your friend’s father is descendant of Ahmed Zog?

habib!

I had forgotten about ‘King Zog’, but yes, my friend said Dad claimed a connection, took him to a couple ‘reunions’ or ‘conventions’ (I don’t think they were using ‘convening’ back in the day) at which my teenage friend was struck by how ‘weird’ his ‘relatives’ were, on the whole, both physically and behaviorally. (Don’t shoot the reporter.) He was half-Albanian, half-Irish and a Canadian citizen out of Toronto. :canada:

MOS

Mit Out Sprechen/Sound (without speech; German/English movie term for shot without dialog)

FYI, I am Albanian, but I was born and raised in the neighbouring Yugoslavia. For the record, your friend was right, we are weird people

If he’s from Toronto, I might know him

If there is one thing I have learned traveling the world…we’re ALL weird people…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. How boring would life be if everyone was the same and agreed about EVERYTHING? Everybody being weird is what gives life spice.

JOCK

an enthusiast or participant in a specified activity

Summary: We’re all jocks. What kind of jock are you?

Inspired post for this word of the day:

I guess we’re at least all Wyze forum jocks.

Probably Wyze jocks too.
Maybe they need to change the word Wyze “user” to be Wyze “Jock” instead.
