Word of the Day

Aren’t these the opposite of each other.

Excessive = Insufficient
Insufficient = Incomplete

Or is it algebra, if this then this. If Excessive then Incomplete. That was the only part I like in math. Everything is if this then that.

Three terms pressed together on a crowded subway car.
Each looks past the other.
On the long ride home.

Another day…

Excessive and Insufficient tussle. Insufficient feels Excessive getting the upper hand so he calls in Incomplete. Excessive is 6’4" 240. Insufficient and Incomplete, 5’7" to 5’10", 150. Both sides feint and flinch but the score is roughly settled now and an uneasy peace prevails.

As you can see, I’m not a math major. :wink:

I have a question and excuse me for being naive.

What is this war about? I mean are they simply fighting because they don’t like each other? A stupid reason.

For property? For religion? For respect?

In my post you replied to, My main point was about “war” or conflict in general, including mostly figurative ones, particularly the conflicts we all have within ourselves (cognitive dissonance).

I was not specifically talking about any current wars, such as: Ukraine-Russia war; Yemen war [proxy civil war between Saudi Arabia and Iran]; Civil War in Syria; Civil war in Ethiopia; Civil War in Myanmar; Congo conflict; Sahel region of Africa conflict; Conflicts in Mali, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Mozambique, nigeria, Afgahanistan, nor the Israel-Palestine war; nor the various cold wars; nor other any other.

Rather I was mostly referencing figurative conflicts within ourselves.

Discussing any of the above conflicts would be difficult to do without someone perceiving any discussion to be a biased interpretation that does not agree with their particular bias, which would cause outrage and emotional posting from one or both sides, resulting in a violation of Wyze’s guidelines, particularly the the following rule under “Keep it Tidy:”

Therefore, I do not feel comfortable posting a public summary of what any of the above conflicts are about, because someone will inevitably be super offended that the information was not presented under the lens of their particular bias. I would instead recommend running a simple search along the lines of “unbiased summary of the ___ war” or conflict or something like that and then choose a source that seems to you like it is probably giving the best factual information without biased interpretation. Alternatively you could issue a prompt to your choice of several different AI’s, including asking them to report it unbiased with only the facts or chronology of critical events or whatever else you think may provide you the information correctly, including copying your exact question and posting it in an AI.
I also didn’t make a suggestion on which Search engine or AI to use, because, again, some people will claim that different ones have a different bias and will give you a biased answer different from what they want you to believe/accept. I do not wish to contribute to contention on the forum that could result from this, so I apologize for my vagueness in this are, but I wish for every member of this forum to feel like they can ask me for help with Wyze stuff without feeling like I’m “in the other bad group/tribe of people they don’t like and can’t trust” just because I didn’t present something in the light of their political bias. I’m not here for that, I’m here to help everyone and hope all will feel that they can ask me for help with the things they actually come to the Wyze forums for.

Having said all that, your question itself and the reason I didn’t answer it directly is a perfect example of the tribalism I was referencing earlier. Humans are naturally wired to put themselves and others into what social sciences call “in-groups” and “out-groups” and have a natural aversion to treating people differently depending on where they fall in different degrees of those various labels. I try to be careful not to influence people in here to want to put me into too many “out-group” labels and make it harder for me to help them when that’s what they may have come here for.
I hope that makes sense. :heart: Sorry if it is confusing in some way.

Thank you, Servatius Josephus.

Let’s hope we’re not as committed to the lose-lose scenario as we appear to be.

S.J. sent me a text to answer your question. He took the gang on vacation again for a few days so those freeloading cats have taken over the area again. :angry:
