Mystery train
I have been hooked on watching YouTube dashcam videos lately. So many people who should not be on the road.
Youâre lucky you donât live here is crazy land (California) , never a dull moment on the streets in town or on the highway.
@TomG How about a Rabbit on a motor bike this morning.
Welcome to my world. I drive a lot of vehicles for NYC and the amount of stupidity is astounding. People who clearly have no license or no regard for life. Itâs me and me alone on the road mentality.
Just 10 minutes ago person in the merge lane, started to cut in as soon as they entered, a clear blindspot. Didnât care who was there he/she was moving left without looking. Luckily I was driving a fire department vehicle and hit the siren. They moved back over, moved forward a bit then merged in, looking this time.
Mind you the traffic is lighter than normal due to the time of day. So bullying your way in makes no sense and if you have accident with me. You will be shouting for hours waiting for the police report to be doneđ. Iâm already where I need to be, are youđ¤ Mr. Idiot?
Both of our vehicles (2009 and 2010) are nearing the 200K mark. Both are in great running condition. (I know a mechanic who works for free) If either vehicle gets in an accident, chances are it will be totaled.
Lately when driving, I am on the lookout for an upside down car sliding toward me from the opposite direction, or someone running a red light at 100 mph.
2007 Kia
Me, too. Looking for that one idiot who wants to not pay attention and rear end me.
@TechSis and @TomG . Move the the San Francisco Bay Area and your wishes will be granted in probably one day. I recommend Driving on highway 880 between Oakland and San Jose. Watch out for the bullets flying though if you get the wrong car next to you.

To be fair, almost EVERYONE is at war [with themselves] all the timeâŚitâs the nature of being human:
And thatâs just with yourself, let alone alone all the tribalism pulls. It is hard for people to reconcile the differing conflicts of the various groups of which they are a part of and sometimes those differing group value conflicts are hard to reconcile with yourself, let alone completely different groups with entirely opposite values or beliefs on how things should be.
The type of person who can find peace and harmony with themselves and others is someone who is self-aware with high levels of conscientiousness, compassion and resiliency. It requires conscientiousness of accepting your own imperfections, setting and enforcing boundaries for yourself and what you will do in a given situation (not boundaries to control othersâ behavior and what you want THEM to do), self care, connection, and being able to disengage from taking things personally, as well as realistically believing that if you truly knew a personâs storyâŚtheir WHOLE real story, you would love them tooâŚwhich doesnât mean youâd support all their decisions, behaviors, etc by any means.
But not everyone wants or needs to find peace and harmony in a lifelong journey. Everyone can determine their own search for meaning. But in a way everyone is either figuratively at war or has been there at some point, whether with themselves, or tribalism of one kind or another.
Thank you, sir. Considering
In the meantime, folks, be well.
