Wize Cam v2 - Device Offline (no flashing lights)

I have a cam v2 mounted inside my attached garage. I’ve been using it for several years. Once in a while, I have to unplug/re-plug in when my iPhone app can’t connect, but other than that it has been working great.

This morning I noticed a new app icon on my iPhone. I clicked it and I had to go through a few girations but got signed in. Unfortunately, the camera is showing “Device Offline”, I unplugged it and let it sit for a few minutes, then plugged it back in. I figured that would fix it, but still offline. I didn’t see any lights on the camera and verified the AC plug is working. I’ve never had wifi issues and have 2 other wifi devices (garage door opener and Rachio) in the garage, so I figure it should be connecting to wifi ok? I did notice it was connected to my guest wifi. I tried to change the wifi just to check if that might work, but I don’t see how to do that in the settings.

Should I delete the camera from the app and add it again? This only started happening with the new ios app. Please help. I use this as a backup to check if the garage door is open. Thanks in advance.

I replaced this v2 with a new v3. I guess the old v2 finally bit the dust.

Yeah if there are no lights on the cam on startup or button press, that isn’t app related. You could try a different power adapter with it, maybe the cam is fine and you can re-use it somewhere else.
