I have 11 can/soffit lights on a single light switch. Its my understanding that Wyze Lamp Sockets operate in groups of 5. Will these form into 3 groups, or is it hard-limited to 5 units?

The problem is that each group of lamp socket needs it’s own camera attached. So if you have 11 of them and they can do up to 5 in a group, that means you would need to set up 3 with cameras attached. Then you would need to decide which detached sockets will go with which camera-attached socket during setup.
What are you trying to to accomplish? Would a smart switch or smart bulbs in the cans accomplish what your looking to do?

In trying to get power to cameras. I have no outlets off of ground level.

That makes sense to me. I was only planning 2 cameras, but would need to add a 3rd to keep all my can lights active. At this point, I’m probably going to go with the battery powered outdoor cams. However, I’ll know this is an alternative plan if I’m not happy with that solution. … Unfortunately, all the can lights are on a single switch and not easily changed.
