Wifi Router expanding

Hello so I bought a 2 pack I only have 1 cable modem in my home will I need more than one modem or do they just plug into the wall and setup and go on there way thanks I’m still new to adding multiple units and if so I was gonna order a few more to get 6000 square feet of coverage thanks

You need to connect at least 1 router to the modem. That is called the “root” router. It will in turn communicate with any other routers in the Mesh.

Yes, you will need more. Typically the standard router covers 1,500 sq ft per node. The Pro router is said to cover 2,000 sq ft per node.
