I saw Your camera outdoor, with same charge cable , not battery powered.
It is battery powered but you need to recharge the battery somehow? Hence the cord.
We don’t know a lot about it yet. They may go the way of others and have replaceable batteries and you charge the dead one in house. I have a friend that has a different brand. Every 3 months on a Saturday he takes his cams down brings indoors and charges battery’s then replaces them. He just has a schedule so they don’t go dead.

You don’t need take it down to charge it. But you need power supply.
It’s coming, but there are BIG tradeoffs between having a 24/7 continuously on camera, a camera that only wakes on movement, and power consumption.
