Oh this is crazy. Support sent me their standard response to restart etc etc. but I figured I’d read the whole thing.
There is this GEM:
- Mechanical Chime Types: If you have a mechanical chime, navigate to the doorbell’s settings > Doorbell Chime Type > Digital. Tap on “Ring Tone Length” and set the duration to 2s - 3s.
Notice the mechanical chime it tells you to select the DIGITAL option. I thought that was a typo!!! But what the hell try it.

I hate this …. Ugh. At least I have a doorbell that rings now.
Feels like the whole source code is about to fall apart at any moment.
