Wyze doorbell wired V2 won't stop ringing the existing mechanical chime

As some internet mentioned, wyze doorbell V2 just don’t know when to stop the signal.

Oh this is crazy. Support sent me their standard response to restart etc etc. but I figured I’d read the whole thing. There is this GEM: Mechanical Chime Types: If you have a mechanical chime, navigate to the doorbell’s settings > Doorbell Chime Type > Digital. Tap on “Ring Tone Length” and set the duration to 2s - 3s. Notice the mechanical chime it tells you to select the DIGITAL option. I thought that was a typo!!! But what the hell try it. IT WORKED! Have you fiddled with any settings like that? I wonder if something similar (maybe with a different duration) would be sufficient to tell your Chime Controller how long to trigger the chime.
