Same here… all the sudden, nothing but -1 error. Hope it clears soon. Hate to send all my cameras back to amazon. Great deal, but if they don’t work, waste and worthless.
Why not just take the cams out of the group and wait for a fix, at least you can still check the cams?
I un-grouped a group of three cameras in theWyze iPhone app, and that solved the problem. They will connect now, and I can see the live images.
Because that has proven to either not work at all for some folks, or be a short term solution for a problem that resurfaces in a very short while all over again. I’m in the short term category.
I have not had the Error Code -1 so I can’t comment on the issue further. I’m using the iOS app 2.38.3 (3) and have had no issues with my 8 cameras, they have never been in a group.
As stated earlier, Wyze is working on a fix. Have some patience
I discovered on the Wyze forum a temporary fix is to un-group the cameras. That solves the problem, for now. Thanks.

I see some are saying taking cams out of a group fixes the -1 error. I have a group of 5 v3 and one not in a group and they all intermittently have -1 error. I took the 5 out of the group and it fixed them for awhile but within an hour the -1 was back. I put them back in a group and it has intermittent -1 error. I have sent in log file also.
I’m giving up and waiting for a fix - hopefully soon.
Edit: the only way I can get them to come online is force closing the app several times quickly in a row.

This maybe my final straw with wyze. They keep adding more junk to their store and barely fix problems. Over the past year they’ve gotten worse and worse. I take care of my elderly relatives and for a few years wyze has given me peace of mind to run to the store or sleep more peacefully. Wyze has literally captured the deaths of to elderly family members. But because how they are failing me now; they could be the reason for the next one. . I just ordered a few competing cameras to try and maybe replace wyze. I can’t risk it and I don’t think wyze cares anymore.
Hello I’m having a lot of problems here in Brazil with this new update 2.38.3.3 when will it be fixed?
At this rate, Jesus will be bringing the update with Him when He returns. (I’m even wary of the update that is supposed to “fix” this issue because I’m worried it will cause havoc with something else that was fine beforehand.)

Happens since the Jan 5 update. I’m fed up honestly! Can’t view my cameras. iPhone app.
The new App is with Apple Store pending approval Should be out tomorrow or Thursday the latest (according to Wyze).
That is accurate, we are now waiting on Apple to approve it, so optimistically tomorrow.
