Sorry if this is a stupid question but from what I have read, using any usb cord and power adapter is not recommended. The Waze store is out of stock for the aforementioned cord/adapter so what does one use as a replacement for the v2?
Any USB adapter with 5VDC and at least 1W
You can get most parts from the Wyze replacement parts section:
For a V2 camera, any Wyze adapter should work, and any MicroUSB cord.

As stated above, the V2 cam just needs a power adapter with 5Volts and 1Amp, though it doesn’t hurt to give it slightly more than 1 amp. I have done so a few times with my V2’s.
The main thing is not to use a 3rd party cord that is too long or made of too cheap of materials that it doesn’t carry enough power and causes the camera to constantly malfunction. Lots of people use long or cheap 3rd party cords or power adapters with insufficient power and then blame Wyze for their stuff not working right when they aren’t getting the proper power to it.

I think you meant 5VDC and 1 Amp, (or higher) not 1W. 5VDC@1A is 5 Watts.
