I have the new camera in my driveway v3 .I have vehicle detection enabled. I have moved the sensitivity now to 100%. Not one time has the camera picked up the vehicles coming in and out of the driveway since the update. I have the latest app.
I’ve got issues as well and have found 3 different threads re: person detection as well as Alexa announcements. Hopefully these “glitches” will get resolved. Glad I don’t rely on this for security purposes. (had hoped to tho)
Don’t know if it is coincidence but I disabled face, pet and package detection on the V2 and I started to get a few vehicle and person detections. Still only around 10-20% being detected but better than zero that I was getting. Since there were no FW or app updates I assume there are some backend changes going on.
I wanted a v3. But if you are going to only offer them to Cam Plus members. Maybe it is time to get rid of my other 7 wyze cameras. Which includes 1 outdoor with the battery. Love them. But I am disappointed in the diversification of products, seems the cameras are becoming 2nd fiddle. And making me feel 2nd class because of your Cam Plus. I’ve been with you a long time, dumped Arlo for you. I guess those of us that have helped to make you this big are of no use now.

I was having the same issue with my V2, Pan, and WCO. After restarting all cameras and removing cam plus and re adding it the V2’s and Pan started working with all detections again. BUT the 4 WCO cams are only showing motion and not tagging any detections. Please get this fixed ASAP as turning on all motion is just annoying this is the reason I pay for cam plus.
I purchased 3 V3 cams AND 3 Cam Plus subscriptions on the special offered a month or so ago. V3s were out of stock, but I paid in full to retain the V3/Cam Plus discount…I can live with that. Never got a code. After some exhausting inquiries I finally got a code and saved it for the day when the V3s were back in stock. Apparently that day has come per your post…I follow the link and go to order the 3 V3s only to discover that I’m hogtied in buying ANOTHER V3 in order to get the 3 I had already paid for. Now, I’m happy with the V3 which I had already purchased and RECEIVED when they originally went on pre-sale. Great cam, much improved over the V1 and V2 which I also have. It’s the tactics of forcing your customers who have loyally supported your products to buy something they may not need before Wyze will honor and deliver a previously purchased item. I purchased the extra V3 and Cam Plus subscription just to be over and done with this. Now I’ve got more Wyze cams and Cam Plus subscription than I need. BTW Cam Plus is not reliable and doesn’t pick up a third of the motion that is very obvious. In my opinion Cam Plus is a big FAIL for Wyze especially with the Outdoor Cam.
I’m having same problems too with both my v2 cameras. I am not receiving any notifications for the past couple of days.
Also, only motion is tagged even when people walk in front of the camera. Hope the problem will be solved soon.
Over the weekend I did start getting AI event labels for persons and vehicles on my V2 and WCO. I didn’t see an app update but the iOS app has some changes in the staffing and uploading up videos. The go rid of tags for Missing Detection and False Detection making it less ambiguous.
Way things are going, my AI isn’t working either, may be time to leave what was once good snd start looking again.

SERVICE STATUS UPDATE
February 3rd 1:00 AM PT Scheduled Maintenance
The Wyze app and Wyze websites will be down for scheduled maintenance on February 3rd at 1:00 AM PT. Here’s the scope of impact:
- Users will not be able to log in, sign up for accounts, or use the app.
- wyze.com, forums.wyzecam.com, and services.wyze.com will go into maintenance mode at the same time.
For Wyze Cams:
- Event videos will become available after service is restored.
- Notifications from during that time will be delayed.
For Wyze Sense:
- Actions that would be triggered by Wyze Sense in the maintenance window will not work.
For Wyze Lock:
- Keypads will still work without the cloud service.
- Unlocking with the app and auto-unlock WILL NOT function during the maintenance window.
For Wyze Thermostat:
- The thermostat itself can work without internet but heating/cooling usage data and HVAC filter life data will be lost.
- Geofencing may not work.

I am still not receiving AI notifications ony 4 outdoor cameras. I have cam plus on all 4 but only being tagged as motion. I NEED my AI notifications to work. This is the purpose of me paying for it. They have not been working for over a week now. Please fix ASAP!
I agree. The thing that I loved most about Wyze was how they were dedicated to making quality cameras affordable for everyone. I bought multiple cameras. I got other people to buy their cameras. Now I won’t recommend them at all and I’m searching for myself for another brand. These cameras glitch all the time now, so many problems that I wish they would just focus on perfecting what they already have instead of going to vacuum cleaners and lightbulbs and things first. Stick with the original goal that made you a great company which was to make quality cameras affordable for everyone. i’d rather have them perfect what we started out with than to have things like package recognition and pet recognition when those things don’t even work. Half the time my cameras stop detecting everything and I have to shut them down and restart them or delete them entirely and re-install them. why don’t they perfect recognizing the difference between a cloud passing by the sun cost causing shadows and an actual person? If they can’t get that right why do they think they’re going to get package detection right and other such things? he also used to be very responsive when you write in with a problem now it’s hard to find a place to do that and get a response that makes any difference. Also, in their app all of the pop-ups that come up when you’re trying to hurry up and see who’s at your door you can’t do anything until you respond to their pop-ups. Those should not be happening either. I don’t feel this is the same company that started out as a caring company it seems the caring has switched from the customer to their wallets. Sadly.
I found the Cam Plus trial version is better than the pay product.

Agreed…tha paid version associated with the Outdoor Cam is worthless. Unreliable, Spotty. In the presence of constant motion I might get 2 sec. or 7 sec. or 1 min+. With my V2s and V3s i’s a good thing that they have SD cards otherwise important events are missed. The 12 sec. clips without Cam Plus are more reliable. Wyze touts no cool down with Cam Plus, but it doesn’t make nay difference if the event is missed. I guess Wyze is too distracted selling nick nacks and what nots.
I’m still a loyal Wyze customer and will buy again despite the shortcomings of Cam Plus.
I have Cam Plus on a V3 cam mounted above my garage. During the day the event logging is mostly reliable but at night I get dozens of events in the event log of nothing more than a few bits of dust and debris blowing in the wind. It seems the night vision is able to pick up even small specs of dust and debris and interprets it as motion. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am just using the regular V3 Camera (not the Outdoor camera) if that makes any difference.
