Are these creeper cameras only? It catches someone coming in but never leaving.
Do you have a screenshot?
Are you using AO detections or just the free motion detection with a 5 minute cooldown? (It’s possible that someone approaching, like a solicitor) gives a notification when they arrive but not when they leave because they leave during the 5 minute cooldown period. If you use an SD card they’d be recorded there still.
Are you using a battery cam with a PIR sensor or a a wired cam that can record continuously? PIR sensors sometimes are picky about direction of movement and may require slight position changes to optimize detections.
There are a bunch of potential answers, but a lot of it depends on more context.
I kind of wish some of my cameras would only notify me of people arriving and ignore people leaving. Some cameras do this on purpose and only trigger on movement over a tripline boundary in one direction. I’ve actually suggested to Wyze that they support this intentionally as an option.
If your camera has an SD card slot, put in an SD card and set it to Continuous Recording. This will allow your to view Playback around when someone arrives to get the full picture of what is going on.
