Antonius, have you had any further updates or successes with the WOC download falilures? I just discovered I have the same exact problem. I see the event in the EVENTS screen, I can play it on the phone in the app, but unable to download or share. In my case, it says “Loading” but then with no messages at all, it appears that the app aborts and automatically starts over with the main app screen.
Yes I have found out that if I temporarily remove Cam Plus I can download all the event videos from the 4 WCO that I have. I am currently working with support on another new ticket I sent in and discussed on the phone with them. My problem started when they merged my 4 Wyze Cam Outdoor subscriptions with the V3 cam and CP subscription I purchased in February. The deleted my 4 CP subscriptions and added them to the V3 account. When I try to download on CP it will quick flash Loading, then a file size like 7.5-8.6 Mb. The is no way my WCO event files 15-20 seconds are 8.6 Mb in size, most are less than 1 Mb. Downloading from the V3 works just fine, down loaded a 4.8 min. video yesterday.
If you have Cam Plus turn it off on a temp. basis and try to down load. If the video is recorded with cam plus on I can not down load but if I disable CP make an event video I can download.
My Wyze Cam 2s are not allowing me to download videos. The screen just flashes “LOADING” and nothing happens. No video is download. What is the issue that needs to change?
Are you using the WYZE V2 or the WYZE Cam Outdoor (WCO). My issue with my 4 WCO is directly related to the Cam Plus Subscriptions on those 4 cameras. WYZE support is still looking at it, sent a new log file today. I’m using a iPhone and iOS app.
Were you able to get this resolved? I’ve been having this issue on a WCO, even with the latest firmware update. I have two cameras connected, and oddly, one easily saves to the gallery without issue, while the other one fails constantly. I tried removing CamPlus from that one, and the clip still would not download. Are you saying it needs to be created post-disabling of camplus?

My solution was to remove and cancel the cam plus on all 4 WCO. You can remove CP from a cam, make an event video and see if that works, then put CP back on the cam if that is what you want. My cam plus worked fine and I could download event videos for about 5 months until I set up a V3 on CP and WYZE combined all my licenses so they would all be paid at the same time. After that no more download from the WCO unless I had first temporarily removed the cam plus and made an event video… Cams without download would be useless to me and the WCO has no playback. I now just do scheduled event recording to the SD card in the cams and still get a 12 sec. event cloud clip. If I want to see the entire event I take the SD card out and read it.
