I just purchased wazecam v2 that I just received. The first thing I noticed was that the base of the camera, the plastic and metal part that rotates and attaches to stand, is quite loose. That is, a slight touch or strong breeze can make it rotate. Is this normal?
It’s been reported on some instances. If you take a slim piece of stiff plastic sheet and slide it into the gap between the camera housing and the part that rotates that will tighten it up.
If you expect to have a camera staying put in one place, put a little dab of silicon at all the joints. With silicon, you COULD later move it. If you REALLY are sure you will never want to move it, you could use epoxy.
This outdoor housing from Amazon is a great option to mount the Wyze camera outside.

Thank you for link. I purchased mount for the camera as it is going outside. I was curious about the base because was interested in purchasing one or more cameras for inside.
You’re very welcome The last camera I bought is loose like that. I think I will try what RickO suggested to tighten it up.
Like said, A Small tab of clear plastic, cut ,from , any blister pack, slide it into the gap between the camera housing and the part that rotates that will tighten it up,
