Yes, this has been going on for so long with no response from Wyze. I just ordered a Shark AI robot, It does not have this problem plus the brush roller does not get tangled up with my dogs hair like the Wyze does. These 2 things are the only reason I am replacing it.

Great idea. Now that Iāve had this robot vac since it basically came out I can safely say that it will never be updated to properly split rooms. Iāll check out the Shark, do you like it? This should have been fixed in days and instead itās been years. The point of a robot vac in convenience, and instead itās frustrating. I have an internal wall (essentially a room with two doors that the Wyze vac recognizes as just a regular old object). This means the vac does a weird perimeter of two different rooms, and I canāt individually clean them as needed. So ridiculous that you canāt easily split a room, or ācreateā a wall in the map.
This was my frustration with Wyze vacuum as well. I replaced it with a Shark IQ Robot. The Shark lets me divide rooms as I want. My only frustration with the Shark is when there is an app update I have to edit the room names again. This is frustrating but at least does not affect the functionality.
the same issue w/ the update affects the wyze room labels as well, but at least you can divide rooms as you like
