Yeah the problem is that most IOT devices aren’t supporting the newer 2.4ghz 6/7 standards and even if they do, until all the old stuff in your area are gone, you don’t really get to reap the benefits of the additional bandwidth as those older devices interfere and drag the speeds down. There is definitely improvement, but at this point it is not a big step up.
