I purchased a V4 camera. When viewing events there is only a still shot, not 11 second video like on the older cams. When I hit the playback arrow it goes directly to an advertisement for Cam+.
Do the v4’s not capture video for the free plan anymore?
Video recording via the Events tab has required some variety of a CamPlus for several years. That includes CamPlus lite which can be free. However, none of the newer cameras (past 2 years) have the option of CamPlus lite. You can get video recording (events or continuous) with a uSD card installed in the camera.

Yes. Select the “SD Card” icon (grayed out if you don’t have a uSD card).
