I can log into a Chinese server and find out if you want.
Edit: tried and no images in Chinese.
Guess that’s what Google Lens is for.
In reality they probably don’t even have multiple languages on the site, probably just embedded google translate.
EDIT - I didn’t give enough credit, it does redirect to a /ja subsite (so is it Japanese and not Chinese?). Though even the articles are still in English on that site. So I guess it’s a wash.

The text at the top-center just to the right separated with a pipe character translates to “English | Chinese”.
Hm, the /jp URL doesn’t make much sense then. Guess it stands for something else.
Maybe that was the default language at startup. Maybe I’ll look again, to view it in English.
Didn’t feel like clicking buttons, not knowing their function.
I’ve never had it come up in any other language, maybe just an accidental click/tap. Or maybe they think you’re in China for some reason. Perfectly legit site, no concerns.
Not for nothing, but now I have the issue with a V3 cam, even with a card formatted by the SD card formatter you suggested.
