getting “Error(code 04): failed to fetch the video from cloud. please try again later” every time i try to view an event.
I’m having the same issue. Only happens on non-cam plus cameras. Tried restarting cameras and still unable to view events.
So it’s not just me? Sent in a log like they said in the pop up.
Also cannot update firmware on my 2 Cam Pan v1. App is 2.48.1 (381) and firmware on cams is 188.8.131.5247. Restarted cameras and the app they still report “Everything’s good!”
Why is connecting to cloud a prerequisite to looking at events on my installed SD card?
Same here with my v3 cams. Started sometime within the last 8 hours. Hopefully it’s another thing that can be fixed remotely.
I get the same error but I have SD card not cloud.
Tried clearing app cache. Still unable to view videos.
So sorry this is happening. We are trying to collect logs from the cameras to help the engineers. Here’s the thread where we are asking for logs relate to this incident: Error code 4

Please post the log number you get on the submission screen and I will give that to our engineers.
Sounds like the new updates don’t want people using SD cards for free events any more. They keep taking away free services.

Uninstalled the Wyze app and reinstalled. Still receiving Error 4 message when trying to view event from SD card. The event loads but the pop up error prevents playback

Just checked all are working again

Thanks for letting us know! So sorry for the misstep.
I’ve been having this happen for months. Emailed once and was told to restart camera remove SD card and put back. Well it’s still happening. At this point idk why I even paid for the dam service if it doesn’t work. Well when the cameras completely stopped work last weekend or so and they came back online it worked and now the other day I checked and it had stopped once again.
We will not be renewing service because of this I’m just irritated cause it was already a waste of money.
