Tune Settings on Hub Settings Screen for Non-HMS Subscribers

I was limping with V1 sensors until today. I installed my first V2 entry sensor.

As everyone here mentioned, there is no way to turn off the single tone (if you don’t have HMS)…

I voted for this feature, but I’m not sure how much visibility it’s getting.

Very little…no revenue stream from non-HMS users.

Would also love this to happen.

I don’t know why I’m still surprised everytime I find out about some new easily fixable quality of life bug that Wyze does absolutely nothing to fix.

Finally replaced my old sensors to this new system and now have this exact issue, why in the world would we not be able to turn off that ding sound without paying a monthly fee. It boggles the mind.

Maybe its finally time to abandon this ecosystem. There has to be something better out there.

YoLink…

It would be nice if they wouldn’t have locked that entire system behind a paywall. I already pay for the highest tier subscription as a cam pro member which I figured would include some sort of self monitoring. Even if I wanted to I wouldn’t be able to get both. My system currently is being used as a $100 paper weight to hold down all the other manuals for all the wyze products I have. The home monitoring kit is the only thing that’s unusable in the most ridiculous way, and it has so much potential. Wyze use to pride themselves on being a camera without a subscription, now they treat their customers so differently. I miss the good old days when they would interact with the customers and listen to feedback.

I too bought my devices when motion detection etc was free, yet I pay them for it now anyway because I appreciated the brand. Now however, I’m like you…. Sometimes it takes 4-5 minutes to get a notice of motion, why would I pay for that as “security”? If it was an intruder I’d be dead before my app would chime..

Not buying more WYZE anything until they start respecting customers again.
