Events Filtering on mobile App and Wyze Web View are not equal.
Wyze needs to consider a UNIFIED view/functionality across All platforms: Ditch “Wyze Web View”, embrace “Wyze Web App”

I think the best solution to this will come Windows 11 supporting Android Apps natively. Then people can just install the Wyze App on their PC or their Mac.
I don’t think it would make much business sense for Wyze to devote the resources to make a separate browser-based app when Windows and Apple are adding their own support to run the Wyze App natively. They can devote those resources toward other Wishlists instead now. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is a big reason why the Web View beta isn’t getting a lot of changes lately, it is a waste of limited resources. If I were business consultant to them (which I am not), I would recommend they basically leave the Webview essentially how it is for now so that people have some functionality for now, and then wait and see how things turn out with the Windows 11 native support for the app.
I did install the Wyze App on my Windows 11 PC for a while despite Microsoft not being done with development yet, and I was fairly impressed. Last I heard, Windows expects to support up to at least Android 12 soon. Then everything will be unified as is being requested without Wyze wasting extra time or money to do it.
I also installed the native Android App setup in Windows 11. The Wyze App would not let me go more than one or two menus deep anywhere without crashing and landing back at the Main Wyze App screen. After a few days of that pain, I quit trying to use it. (I just installed the Android Device Emulator View On PC/Browser (Windows / Mac / Chromebook) - #3464 by nixhome2020 and it’s rock solid and makes it so much more convenient to submit logs, edit rules, etc.)
This will never be a replacement for an app or web page that can utilize one’s full 22" to 30" LCD monitor real estate where one would like to view multiple cameras:
Last I checked, Apple and Microsoft where not going to implement any sort of support for a Tablet (Landscape) view of those mobile OS’s, just phone view.
The Android Emulator I’ve just installed does show Tablets available for emulation, but they don’t have the Play store available in them, and when I “rotated” one that I setup, it seemed to suffer from the same fate as my iPad Pro 12.9" in that it did not rotate the virtual tablet properly.
Were you able to go deep into menus on camera settings without it crashing? Edit Rules without it crashing?

I stand corrected, they are equal: Landscape View For Tablets - #812 by Seapup Thank you @Seapup

the V3 camera…
I get 30-40 events per night reported due to flying insects spiders, feral cats etc.
while the old outdoor battery cam it replaced which I installed a about 8 feet from the V3 cam will only alert on something as big as a person walking close to it. The other battery cams are working fine but that on apparently went bad…
That could and sounds like it is due to the different detection type of the V3 (pixel detection) vs the WCO (Passive infrared detection).
