Thermostat - scheduling for time of day metering?

I live in AZ and have time of day metering - on weekdays between 3:00 and 8:00, I’m charged a higher rate. I’m thinking of getting the Wyze thermostat, but I can’t determine if it will allow scheduling to increase the AC temperature setting during a specific period of time on certain days. I’m also enrolled in APS’s (my utility company) digital thermostat program which allows them to control the thermostat during high usage days and gives me a kickback for doing so. Any chance that using the Wyze thermostat would allow me to continue?

I’d appreciate anyone’s experience with this.

Hi Barncat,

The answer to your first question is yes, you can program your AC for certain temps during certain times on certain days with the Wyze thermostat.

The answer to your second question is no. You will have to use the thermostat supplied by your power company to receive the discount for allowing them to control it.
