When did this start, and what phone and system?
I have a similar problem where I cannot DL videos of any length.
However I believe it’s caused by a bug in iPhone iOS 18. I cannot message videos or pics either. They start to go, then just hang and don’t complete.
I’ve talked to Apple support and this is now a known issue and they’re working on it. So if you have an iPhone, that’s probably the issue. If not, I hope you get a resolution.
Exactly, and even with subscription they are undependable.
Reolink works without subscription or even Internet unlike Whyze, that’s what I have been replacing my Wyze cams with Reolink.

I’m using iOS 18.2 and I download one video this morning (5.3 MB) and I also shared one video (emailed it to myself) 6.8 MB, no issues. I had no issues with iOS 18.1 either.

Not crazy with the solar panels ,Will have to look at their site

It’s apparent experiences are not the same. I have 5 v3s and all updated with the latest firmware. [Disclaimer: I am a cam+ unlimited subscriber]
I also have 2 v3s setup with overlapping fields of view. Motion is recorded as it should, but my settings focus on AI smart detection events. Most activity in my sideyard is my dogs or me out with them. As they or we cross the yard, both cams detect the activity and record and send notifications to my Android phone.
There are detection zones, but primarily to carve out my neighbors above a 7ft stockade fence (privacy considerations). Below the top of the fence, there is considerable overlap in the field of view
I don’t necessarily subscribe to the premise that my cams perform differently for motion events, excluding AI smart detection, just because of cam+. When you examine the majority of the comments, calling the v3 junk because of firmware updates isn’t justifiable. I would recommend spending more time in the Forum seeking solutions from the mods/mavs and other users commentary. You would be surprised at the rate of successful resolutions. Or if within the year warranty support tickets for replacements. However it seems as if the v3 is in your “rearview mirror”.

That’s great for you! But this iOS 18 bug is a KNOWN ISSUE that affects SOME iPhones. It works for means absolutely nothing relative to people who are having problems.
Or didn’t you know that computer bugs do not affect every machine?
So, there is a known issue that keeps me AND MANY others from uploading videos and pics through texting. It acts the same way that DLing videos from Wyze. It MAY be related.
If Apple fixes the problem on my iPhone and it has an effect, or no effect I’ll report back.
He was sharing his settings with you so you can compare and make sure you’re not missing one… why are you yelling at him?
I don’t use iOS but on android if you say “no” when it asks for permission (or do the restricted access) it can cause similar behaviors, so double checking stuff is worthwhile.
