Tablet fails to connect

I get the same error most of the time with my Android tablet and phone when I try to view my camera

Failed to connect. Please check your Internet connection. Error code 200004.

But I have an excellent Internet connection and everything else works fine. I can usually see events but seldom the live view.

What is going on?

I would try Temporarily moving a camera and your tablet and phone closer to your WiFi router to see if distance is causing a poor connection.

Also, restart everything (cameras, tablet, phone, WiFi router and modem).

You might want to try these things in steps so you know what clears up your problem. Good luck.

Sorry , I must have clicked something wrong. I have a cam og, not an outdoor camera.

I am away from home so I can’t unplug the camera. I can see an event in the app, but when I click on it to see the animation it fails to connect.

Does your tablet have the latest Wyze app or is it running an older OS version and limited to an older Wyze app version?

Some older Wyze app versions may not work well with newer firmware versions. This would explain why it works fine on your phone but not your tablet.

Brand new version. I uninstalled and reinstalled to make sure.
