I submitted two help requests. The first one they said to go to the app and submit a log to engineering. I contacted support again a month later (3521743) and they said they have no way of accessing the logs, they go to engineering and they can’t read them. No one responded to my log.
With the latest software update, the sound notifications no longer work. The events are logged, and they show up in the notification bar, but do not give an audio alert. I’d like this to work again, When I’m in certain parts of the house, I can’t hear the doorbell. Wyze used to alert me to this so I could check the door.
I’m not sure I’m understanding the problem, are you not getting notifications on your phone? Or are the notifications just not playing a sound for you?

It’s not playing a sound. Here is the pulled-down notification bar,
This is from the iOS app. If you tap notification sound is anything selected. I only have the choice of the WYZE sounds or the Default Apple sound. I know you can set up different sound with your android app.

Yes I checked the in-app setting for notification sounds
I also checked in Settings for App Notifications and Device and App Notifications. The second one grants access for the Wyze app to read notifications. I don’t see why the app should need that.
Have you checked if your phone is on silent, or in the OS settings on android there is a setting to disable notification sound? There is no way to disable the sound of a notification from within the Wyze app, that is something your phone is doing.

Which software? App or camera firmware? Have you tried to restart your phone? How about uninstall the app, restart your phone then reinstall the app and see if the notification sounds return? Have you tried selecting the system sound or another other of those sounds on the menu? Do you get sounds on notifications from other apps?

How about if it just works? How about if Wyze helps me?
It seems correlated with the app update.
I uninstalled one camera and reinstalled it. Fail.
I’ve restarted the phone. Fail.
All the other apps have correct notification sounds.
Two of the cameras are inaccessible. I had to reconnect them when I changed routers and it took me a half hour. If I uninstall the app I will need to reconnect them.
I have never heard of this issue happening to anyone else, so we are trying our best to figure out what’s going on and what the issue is.
You will not need to set the cameras back up, just sign back into the app.

Like Beans said, you do not need to re install your devices as the settings are saved to the cloud. You can uninstall the app, restart your phone, then re-log into the app after you reinstall it and all your devices will populate. Doing a fresh install of the app will be good because maybe there was a fluke when you just updated it.
Sounds like they believe they did. From your comments it sounds like they believed it was an app bug, and had you submit a log so that your experience and app log can be forwarded on for investigation. Unfortunately that information highway is a one-way street as we don’t then hear back from the devs or engineering. If they determine it to actually be a bug then they work on code to fix it for a future firmware or app update.
There are lots of knowledgeable folks here on this forum willing to help you. To me this seems like maybe a glitch when you updated the app and I would hope a fresh install would fix.

@IEatBeans @Omgitstony Thank you for your help. I regret my tone earlier. I thought I’d need to reinstall the cams. You were correct, all I needed to do was log back in. Everything is working now.

Thanks for the note. And glad you got it figured out. Just to confirm, you reinstalled the app then logged in and that fixed it?
