Suggestions for mounting cam pan on exterior corner of a building

Has anyone come up with a satisfactory, low cost, method of mounting a cam pan on the exterior corner of a rectangular building so that one camera can view 2 sides of the building with a 270 degree pan?

If you’re a DIYer then any block of wood with a triangle cut out of the back would do it. I have to imagine there are generic mounts out there that are intended for corners and give you a flat surface to mount to also?

This may work if you have a Cam Pan v4 or v3.

Figured there was probably something out there. Though I would recommend mounting it with “cam on top” if possible, either that or covering above the cam to protect it from rain.

It would be easy enough to fashion an “umbrella” to cover the top to provide rain protection to the mount that StevenA posted. Could be as simple as a sheet of flat plastic above the mount.

Yeah I’ve even seen some discs sold on amazon, and I believe someone mentioned using a large yogurt lid or something once too. For me, after mine got water in it, I just changed it to cam on top. Not quite as ideal but still catches what I need it to and no worrying about water. But mine is not that high off the ground and doesn’t need to look straight down, for others it may be necessary.

StevenA, this is exactly the kind of solution I was looking for. THANKS!

This is what I have, works great, although it is under my roofs overhang so I’m unsure about water ingress if not sheltered a bit, but personally I’d risk it over mounting the camera right side up as someone else suggested as that would cause a relatively huge blind spot below it
