I love my Wyze Cam3. It does everything that it claims to do and it does it well.
But what I would like is the ability to add a zone for notifications similar to the zones for detection.
I want it to record ALL movement as it does now apart from some trees that I have excluded via the zone. But I only want it to NOTIFY me if there is motion in a couple of small areas. One is the letter box so I know if something is delivered and one is a small area of path which indicates that someone is approaching the house.
Has this been cconsidered at all?

Hello @mathersken and welcome to the community, this is something that has been brought up by the users and has a Wishlist topic you can vote on (upper left of linked page) but is not currently being looked into.

Separate Motion Detection (recording trigger) and AI-Detection (notification) zones

It would be nice to set a notification zone over top of a detection zone. For example, this would allow me to detect (record) someone walking down my sidewalk, but only get notifications if they walk near my front door. I still want to record cars that may have stopped in front of my house, but only get notifications if they pulled into my driveway.
