Please see the attached motion detected recording in my house this evening. There were 5 similar recordings with the lights entering and exiting from different angles. I verified that it is not caused by external car lights. No one was home when this was recorded.
Has anyone seen anything similar and any ideas what this is?

Hi Dave,
It’s a bug… They are attracted to the IR light, and tend to hang around the camera. Put a camera outside, and turn on the IR. You will see tons of this sort of thing.
Thanks for the reply. Does turning down the sensitivity reduce the detection recordings?
My understanding is that the alerts to your device, are controlled via the slider in the setup, and the recorded images on the SD card in the camera are of any detected motion, at any level. I would like to have this belief confirmed, and/or corrected if possible by someone on this list.
David, do you still have your video? I started experiencing very strange light movement on my camera. It lasted a few weeks and then stopped. Did you find an explanation? Since I’m a new user, I can’t upload the videos to show you what I’m talking about.
Casey, I no longer have the video, but it appeared like small flashes of light moving very quickly through the viewing area. Several people (including support) told me that they were bugs that were attracted to the infrared.
Hello, I get these random light recordings all the time. They are not bugs as they are in my dining room, a bedroom, and my sunroom. I would really love to know what these are. My son has also seen them on his cameras I gifted to him. Told him ghosts, but that didn’t set well with my daughter-in-law. 
Any ideas would be super! Thanks!
