don’t know if it is from an update (firmware says I have the ‘latest’) but suddenly, I’m not getting any events AND Detection Zone will not turn on (button keeps jumping to OFF). Wyze app on smart phone and android tablet.
When a toggle keeps snapping back to OFF it usually means the setting isn’t getting saved on the camera, so I’d start by unplugging the cam for about 10 seconds and trying the toggle again once it’s back online. If events are still missing after that, check under Event Recording that motion detection is on and that there’s no detection schedule limiting it to certain hours. Also worth a look if you use Home Monitoring or a Rule that turns event recording off in certain modes, since that can make it look like events just stopped.

I unplugged camera for at least 10 seconds. Detection Zone still will not turn on. Silder button remains off.
Try ‘Reset Services’ to re-sync your camera with Wyze Cloud.

TERRY L thank you Sir. Will try that AGAIN. Hold on. No fix. Deleted cam, Setuo now doesn’t connect to WiFi. Camera front light blinks white to blue and back. Obviously not connecting. FYI the camera does say, ‘ready to connect’ each time. Then, blink white blue white.
You misunderstood my comment. I was referring to the ‘Reset Services’ function in Settings.
It appears you ran a Factory Reset.
Can you explain further?
Is it not listing your WiFi SSD? Is it not connecting after you enter your password?
Have you contacted support about this issue yet? If not, please do; they can be reached at 206-339-9646. Can you also let me know which specific firmware and app version you are running?
Edit: Looks like this issue was reported and we are looking into it. Could you please submit a log and give me the log number?
