Water incursion in to the lens assembly, Wyze is well known for this issue on supposedly outdoor rated cameras.
Have you tried cleaning the lens with a soft cloth?
Hi @dave27 as I mentioned I have a disability so I haven’t been able to get out and cleanse the lenses yet.
@bryonhu I was thinking the same thing but when I have seen that before the issue tended to exist in one spot. The fact that so much of the lens is blurry this time is quite unusual. I wonder if when the summer comes if it will dry out.
Depends on the amount of moisture pulled into lens.
They will dry out when warmer but there will be water spots on the lens inside, noticable upon close inspection.
Over time the water spots will cover entire lens inside.
Ever since V3 release all models after have used this type of lens adhesive which conveniently barely lasts the length of the warranty

I have a v4, several OGs and two Panv3s in direct rain, none have ever gotten any water inside the lens. Doesn’t mean it can’t happen, but I have had blurry or dark images when the lenses needed to be wiped off because some snow or rain fell right on it and dried there leaving a water spot.
Perhaps a friend or neighbor can give it a quick wipe off for you? I usually use a dab of rubbing alcohol then quickly dry it off.
I just cleaned off a V4 that has been outdoors and has been subject to direct sun, rain, mud and raccoon abuse for over 1.5 years and it is still crystal clear. You’re just mad because your V3 cams couldn’t handle being covered in snow, forest kitty, bear and skunk abuse. My V4 is 4 inches above the ground.

Arctic temps and oceanic humidity. Bad combo.
No question but I do have Eufy cameras that are older that are pan and tilt and no issues.
But wait Dave-27 says this Not a common occurrence and all his cameras are fine, Says this All the time in defense of Wyze, That Wyze Koolaid must be good ![]()
I have been saying this for years about the adhesives they switched to breaks down in sunlight over time, then moisture / humidity gets drawn in.
Come On Davey tell us again how your cameras don’t let water in the lens, YET ![]()

Glad to see another Wyze escapee…
I’ve been using V2s, V3s, and V4s since the V2 first came out. I have never had a lens failure on any Wyze camera. And all cameras but one live outdoors 24-7. Great cameras.
I have had four V3 fail and now one V4.
I live in a place that has high winds rain and snow.
It is very disappointing.
Same here wind, snow, rain, hail, sleet, etc…

V3’s only last 2-3.5 years in my environment (outdoors) on average. And I had over 30 at one time
My Reolink’s are holding up great so far at over 2.5 years old, and yes they costed more… But if you get a subscription Wyze ends up far more $$$$ in the long run
