Smart Plug WLPP1 Stop Working

Attempted to re-configure one (1) of the Smart Plugs and it just fails when it attempts to connect to the plug. Verified creds work, I am able to connect to the same SSID with my other devices (i.e. iPad, wifi printers, etc,)
Any suggestions or is it defective for good,

Those old WiFi Plugs were susceptible to several issues, which is probably why they came up with the Bluetooth V2 Plug. Here is a list of things to check, with a setup process at the bottom:

Thanks for the update !!

I am not sure why one (1) of the Smart Plugs from the 2-pack is working w/o any issues but the other Smart Plug is on the same SSID will not connect. I verify all of the following as you suggested:

  1. Plugs have access to the 2.4 GHz network
  2. I am not using any Band Steering, MAC filtering
  3. I do not see an option to update the app to 2.5 as recommended. Attempted both on iPhone and tablet

You may have a defective unit. If you do, you need to contact Wyze customer support to see about a replacement (see contact info below).

One thing that bothered me was you said you couldn’t UPDATE to iOS app 2.5. Version 2.5 came out over 2 years ago. They are currently up to iOS app version 2.27. How old is your iPhone and tablet? Running less than iOS 12?
