Smart focus in “Live” only is useless. Let’s have it for playback on events and playback on SD card.

Great idea. I might actually use smart focus.
So why is Wyze dragging their heels on this? We buy these cameras to protect ourselves. If there is an incident in which we need to give footage to police, the smart focus would be helpful! Without it being recorded, why have it at all?

This actually appears to be in β testing for Cam v4 in the new Wyze app:
I don’t know what that means about other cameras with Smart Focus (like Cam v3 Pro), but at least there seems to be some progress on this feature request.
