One of my cameras includes a view of a busy street. I have turned off detection of vehicles but I am still getting notifications for every vehicle going by. Any suggestions?
Yes, but it’s detected as a vehicle, not moving
Do you have Vehicle turned off on smart detections, the events filters or both? If you turn it of in the event filters it will probably show up as motion. If I turn Vehicle filter off on my V4 facing the street it doesn’t record any vehicle events if I also have motion off.
I got tired of getting vehicle notifications for my truck parked so a mad a detection zone to block the truck and it works well.
I don’t know how to stop vehicle notifications if your camera viewing a busy street?
I have turned off Vehicle Detection and Notifications on my Cameras. I have allowed all motion in the camera settings, but no notifications on those. Then in the Events screen I will filter for Person, Pet, Package, etc. when I am looking for something specific.
When I clear it, I see everything and then can branch off to the SD Card at that time for more information as the SD Card is set to Continuous recording.
That sounds like a good plan. I have vehicle detection turned but I live at the end of the street so all I get is vehicles that come here to turn around, not a lot of through traffic.

Yea, that is ideal. I live in a development where cars come by frequently. Personally, I am not concerned about the cars, more about the people on my driveway.
