Settings Can't be Accessed for all Cams and Event Recording List is Empty

Hi. This afternoon I suddenly have multiple issues with all cameras. I have Cam v2, Cam Pan v1, Cam Pan v2.

I am unable to access any camera settings. I can go to Live View → Settings → Notifications and then I get “loading” and a blank screen. Same thing for Settings → Event Recording.

I’m no longer getting event notifications.

The event recordings list is now empty for all days.

I haven’t updated to the new app or changed anything. I rebooted my phone but that didn’t help. I don’t see anything on the service advisory support page.

As an Android user, have you tried a Force stop and then Clear cache and/or Clear storage? If you’re reluctant to try the new app version (like attempting an uninstall/reinstall), then those would probably be the next things I’d try (and I’d probably reboot the phone again afterward). Doing that will likely force you to log in to the Wyze app again (and go through the 2FA hoops), but it should also pull down a fresh copy of your settings from the Wyze servers, assuming those are operating normally.

I actually did do Force Stop and cleared the cache when I did the phone reboot. None of that worked. Appreciate the suggestions though.

Everything is suddenly working again so who knows what happened.

I’ve noticed a similar issue with the v3 app. it says something like “camera is null” when you try to open a camera… I’m assuming it’s some sort of “cant communicate with server” bug because it randomly started working again a few minutes later without me doing anything…
