With outages occurring on an almost monthly basis, the Wyze Home Monitoring systems/devices is probably the worst choice you can make to secure your house.
If it’s important, don’t choose Wyze. That’s how I make my decisions.

Where is their service status page?
If this isn’t fixed soon, I’m going to have several Wyze cameras to sell. Some of my cameras are used as baby monitors.

Fortunately, the keypad still worked locally, and she was able to turn off the alarm, but first thing in the morning, and not being fully awake was definitely a little chaotic.
Honestly, this is the first service disruption of any kind Ive had with Wyze since they moved to cloud. So in terms of service ive been pretty happy.
It’s their utter lack of communication about whats going on and where they’re at in their recovery process for this incident is what’s astonishing.
You can quell so many communication storms such as this if you could just provide timely statuses. I see it all the time as an Incident Manage by trade.

Why is this such a frequent and reoccurring problem?? As an owner of five cameras this is getting ridiculous!!!
Wow, they really hid it deep down in a maze of menus and in a place no one would expect it to be. It should be a link at the very top of their website and the main forum page.

Half of my cameras are offline (3 Cam V2, 1 Cam V3) others (1 Cam V3, 2 Cam OG and 1 outdoor cam V1) are still working, as is my vacuum.

at 7:30 eastern time the app wouldn’t let me disable alarm had to go in the door and use keypad and even that took 2 tries before disarm . the app shows oops something went wrong.please try again by refresh the page

How can a service like this not have 24 hour system monitoring???

Wyze products should absolutely not be relied on for life & death critical situations. I doubt any supplier of consumer-grade cameras would claim to be suitable for that.

The app came back up with my cameras showing - but they are still showing offline.

Yeah, I can login now and the app launches. Same as you, many cameras are offline.

Why does it seem notes always start with “we’re getting reports…”? Is there no proactive monitoring? And why isnt there any kind of a push notification so I (and it looks like the rest of the user base) don’t waste hours trying to troubleshoot something that is on the Wyze side??
Beyond frustrating, beyond poor customer support, this is just lack of care…but I bet there will be a new product release soon!
