Sensor V2 (Left Closed) or (Left Open) Duration

I’m Unable to set the “Duration” for the events (Left Open) or (Left Closed).
When tapping on Duration, a screen with the hour, min, sec pops up but there is no way to set / change the values for hour, min, sec.
I tapped everywhere on that screen and nothings enables those fields (hour, min, sec).

See attached picture.

Which app version are you using? Which platform–android or iOS?

I’m running the 3.x version of the app and my interface looks different.

Hi,
I’m using wyze app version 3.0.0(16) on iphone (IOS 17.6.1).

This is what I get:

Clear your cache, logout of the app and reboot your phone.

i have the same problem. App 3.0.0(16) on IOS 17.6.1. Cleared cache, logged out, rebooted and logged in to no effect. I run IOS in dark mode and have app set to follow system setting. Set app to run in light mode and it didn’t make a difference.

Hi Bill,
I did as you suggested (cleared cache, logout from th wyze app, rebooted my iphone) but still I only get the headers Hours, Min, Secs but numbers to select from.

Do you have the app installed on a different phone you could test?

Sorry, I don’t have it installed anywhere else…

Do you have additional sensors that you can test or is this a problem with all of them? Can you delete the sensor and re-add? Others would probably suggest removing and re-installing the Wyze app.

Hi Bill,
I had a brand new sensor ( same model) that i just added to my wyze app and got the same issue. No way to set hours, mins, secs when selecting left open or left closed. I don’t have another phone to try with.

Final, ugly suggestion…uninstall and reinstall the app. Not a great option but the only one left in my toolbox.

I deleted and reinstalled the app. No difference.

What version of iOS. I’m on 17.5.1.

Hi Bill,
If I delete the app and re-download and then login with my credentials, will “all” my devices still be there ? Or will I have re-add “all” my devices one by one again? (My iPhone XR is on iOS 17.6.1)

As long as you don’t delete devices from the app before uninstalling, your devices will still be there when you reinstall and log back in with the same credentials. You device list is stored in the cloud under your credentials. That list is loaded into the app every time you start up the app. You can even download the app to a different phone/tablet and your device list will be displayed.

Thanks Seapup,
How about any automation rule?
Are they also stored in the cloud ?

Yes, automation rules are also stored in the cloud.

I think the only app-related items that you will need to reset are app-related preferences under “Account” tab > App Settings. App settings that you may have changed from the default like Theme and if using Android, Hardware Decoder.

Thanks Seapup: All devices were there after re-downloading.

Bill:
I deleted the app ->> Rebooted my phone ->> re-downlaoded the app ->> login.
Still same issue with the (Left open) and (Left closed) notifications.

Just wondering… did you re-download the Wyze app directly from the App Store or restore the app from your iCloud backup?

Hi Seapup,
I downloaded the app from the appstore.
