I have a camera in a room where people often forget to turn off the TV. I wish I could send a command through the Wyze app to shut off the TV by using the IR emitter on the camera.
Hi @ssnacks and welcome to the Community forum.
Would something like this work?

Unfortunately not because I am away from my house when I need to do it.
That would require a hardware change to add an IR emitter in addition to software. A Harmony Hub remote would work remotely and also with Alexa. So would a simple smart plug like the Wyze plug, but of course that would work by killing power to the TV. Any of those options would aloe turning the TV from anywhere.
Night Visions IR illumination is the emitter and both 850 & 950nm are available on V3
I suppose the 950 could work, but that’s only on the V3. Regular remote controls are usually 940nm. I’m not sure if the V2 850’s would work.
You could use a Broadlink RM3 Mini for that. For some reason, the red ones sell for less than the black ones on Amazon:
