Hi, Following a recent update my V3 no longer has the ability to go back or forward by 30 seconds when viewing SD Card playback, just a red timeline bar that I can drag but hard to get on an exact time. Is there something I’m missing or is this a so called ‘improvement’ ??

[image] bryonhu: Just another feature loss to push to a cam plus subscription which has the 30 second skip forward and back. I have Cam Plus on the V4 and I don’t see it. Am I missing something?

[image] habib: I don’t see it. They are hidden, as usual. You have to tap the live view, and only when a clip is playing.

I only see it when playing from SD card  EDIT: It was only available on SD playback in the old interface as well.

Thanks for the advice re ‘pinching’ the timeline. I now see what they have done and its a really positive improvement as it makes finding a particular time really easy. I just wish Wyze had communicated what they had done as its much better that just 30 sec steps !!!

[image] peteg: pinching Can I still blame, “Autocorrect”? :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing: Compressing/stretching the timeline has been there a long time, but I think it was only recently added to the V3. Very handy, especially if you record “Continuous”.

I faced the same issue on my V3 after the update. At first, it irritated me but after restarting the app and updating the firmware, the timeline controls came back.

The only reason I could think is upgrading a very useful app to the current app is to steer you into a paid subscription, (which is not going to happen with me), So basically I have 5 Wyze cam 3 cameras that are just going to be an aggravation to monitor until I can get them replaced. I won’t be b…

All of my cameras are changed to this new frustrating design, I don’t know how to view my playback anymore……why did they “fix” something that was not broke??? This is confusing…can someone tell me how do I get back to the old 30-second playback?

Tap around the playback timeline like it’s your new girfriend. Double-tap, too.

Tap in various spots. They embedded scrubbing functions in there.
