SD CARD and EVENTS

Hi everyone,

sorry if the question has been asked already , but when a SD card is into the cam ( PanCam ) . is there any way to start recording ( when movement is detected ) but for a period when there is still movements on screen ? as long as needed and not just 12 secondes… ?

and as soon as the 14 free cloud days will end, and a card is inserted , will i receive notifications of movements detection alerts like it was on the cloud ? same thing if im on continuous recording ( movement detections alerts notifications on phone ? )

The cloud just writes over after 14 days, or also known as circular storage. So you still still get alerts.

The as card motion can be enabled under advanced and local storage. I am not 100% sure how long the local motion/event storage records for. Maybe someone else can help you more on that. If not I can test it for you.

i tried yesterday , and even moving for like 2 or 3 minutes , the cam just recorded 12 secondes… even if i set the recording on SD card into the menu …

You have to playback not from events page, but from your SD card.

The 12-second cloud stored clips and the SD card storage are separate and independent. They are set up and viewed in different areas of the app.

For the SD card storage, go to the camera settings, then Advanced Settings > Local Storage. That is where you set the SD card to record continuously or event-only (1 minute segments).

To view the SD card recordings, don’t tap the Events tab in the app. That is only for the cloud clips. Instead, tap the View Playback button on the live stream view. How you’ll see a timeline under thevideo frame so you can go back in time. You can also remove the card from the camera and view or download the 1-minute video files on a computer.
