Every day after weighing myself I export my data (which emails me a .XLSX file). But it hasn’t worked since Monday 10/7/24. Easiest explanation is a down email server or other break in their data pipeline.
Does anyone else see this?
Is it typical for this “smart home” company to be this clumsy with their data & service uptime?
I’ll try to do one now from my Scale X and see if I can confirm the issue.
While I wait for it to go through, can you tell me where it is failing? Does the App give an error? Do you just not receive the email with the attachment? Do you get any kind of error in the process, or just get ghosted with no indication of a problem?
No error at all from the app. I’m picking “Year” for the “Select Data Range” value. Once I click the green “Export” button, a dialog box says “The data you selected will be sent to the email you entered”.
Note that, while I selected “year”, I only have about 2 months of data in the scale; it’s not exporting a full year of data. I don’t think data volume is related to the issue at all.
Device is firmware version 1.0.109 , plugin version 3.0.1 .
This seems to have gotten resolved shortly after my original post, based on the timestamps of emails showing them coming in Monday Tuesday & Wednesday.
