Perhaps. You may want to start with Xfinity support and see what they say.
I have no idea if I posted in the right area, but I’m still having trouble with Wyze and router setup. Perhaps you can tell the others to look for this post:
The more refers to other problems, of course.
Hope you are doing well.

I will take a look at the other thread. I am sure that the rest of the team will also be able to find it and post in if they can help.
Thanks. It’s posted as a problem with the app. I could not see a way to draw attention to the problem also pertaining to the router. I find it difficult to negotiate the forum and don’t really understand where and how and what to post.
No worries. New topics will be moved by the mods and retagged if necessary.
In general, it’s like a department store. Topics are sorted into one of 14 Categories like departments in the store.
Once you determine which category, then specific identifier tags are added to clarify what the topic is specifically about. Multiple tags can be selected if it helps to clarify.
Steven, I read your info re: your cameras and the xfinity xb7. I’m having trouble getting my Wyze cameras (V2 indoor and my outdoor wireless with base) to connect to the modem. The cameras seem to catch motion but won’t live stream. The indoor one has to be turned off and on to get it to live stream each time. Also I have trouble connecting the outdoor camera and getting it to stay connected. Any info you could provide wourld be appreciated. I’m new to this site so not sure if I should be connecting you this way.
Comcast jerked me around with the XB7 rental so I bought an Arris S33 modem 6 months ago. I now have an old Linksys WiFi access point and am thinking of upgrading. Have not done so because my v3 cameras are working well on my new gear
I had trouble initially activating my Arris S33 because I needed my Xfinity package changed for the Arris to work.
There are a lot of videos and information about getting our cameras to connect to many different systems on YouTube and such. I would highly recommend you guys both check that out for your individual systems, there are many things on each individual system such as airtime fairness on some routers made by a certain company that mess with one thing but not another. I always try to review as much as possible before buying a new system, the one system I didn’t which I still currently use is the Wyze mesh pro but I considered that one kind of a fallen system because if anything’s going to work with our systems of cameras and sensors it better be one from the same company lol
I would highly recommend YouTube though and if you guys need any help with anything feel free to tag in any of the mavens or moderators, we might be able to find something or knowing the expanse of the team somebody might even have some experience with that particular setup
