My movil phone was stolen. I could not erase the iphone. I already changed the password, but i think the robbers still have access to my wyze app. I know this because i shared the cams with my wife and she can still have access even after i changed the password. What can i do? If i re install the app in a new phone, and then add 2 factor authentication, will that action log out the old app in my robbed phone?
If it was an iPhone, you can do a remote wipe of the phone by logging into your Apple Account. You may be able to do it via iCloud as well. Wiping the phone will ensure all of your apps and information are removed. In addition, contact your provider and they can put a lock on the phone which will preclude the individuals from registering the phone or trying to set it up.
Once you do this and activate 2FA for the Wyze App, you should be ok. Wyze may be able to force a log out or remove the association to the stolen iPhone, but I don’t know this for sure.
You can reach Wyze by phone: (206) 339-9646 Available Monday - Friday 4 am - 8 pm PT and Saturday 8 am - 4 pm PT, or online: Wyze.com/support
