What experience/suggestions does the community have about moving sensors. Firstly, how to remove, and secondly how to remount them (given that removing them destroys the two sided mounting tape.
You can use 3M Command Strips or 3M double sided tape to remount the sensors. I bought the automotive 3M double sided tape like they use to put door molding on vehicles. It has worked good on my sensors. No issues with them falling off.

Any mounting tape should work fine. You can buy mounting squares which are almost the perfect width for those sensors already. With a pair of scissors, a single mounting square can probably mount about 4 contact sensors.
